Jennica Velazques Nill is probably the epitome of a Self Educated Parent. Deb and I could not believe the drive behind this woman. How quickly she learned that she had the power to advocate for her child's education and effective intervention. What can I say about Jennica! She is bright, beautiful and I have to say her son is a very lucky little man. She eats up every conference that she can get her hands on, as if her hands aren't full enough! She is a Mom and a wife. Yet, she still finds a way to trek many miles to whatever bit of information she can get her hands on.
Jennica is not only a self educated parent, who has made waves everywhere she has gone, most importantly she shares her information and knowledge. For parents and professionals who don't have the time, funds or motivation to go, she continually updates everyone with whatever she stumbles upon.
Even if it helps one parent or one direct care provider , the information she acquires and then disseminates is not only generous, but certainly the "ELIJA WAY".
She is one of our favorite members, because of her kindness and natural brilliance (you cannot NOT LIKE Jennica. She has a smile from here to California!) .
